Vehicle telematics means the technology used for collecting, sending, receiving and storing information via telecommunication devices. Telematics may include, but is not limited to, your vehicle’s global positioning, engine management, computer and mobile communications systems.
The Evogi Group provides services to those that require the collection, storage and use of business and/or personally identifiable information and the dissemination of data gathered from vehicles to companies and to individuals. For companies these services include support for usage based insurance programs, fleet tracking, driver training, risk management and the like. For individuals, these services include support for usage based insurance programs, safety communications, emergency vehicle alerts, information about vehicle location and theft tracking, and assistance with lock-outs. The Evogi Group and the companies we support also use the data collected in aggregate analysis in order to develop new value-added products and services for its customers. When used in aggregate analysis, the data collected will be stripped of personally identifiable information.

What Does This Privacy Policy Cover?
This Privacy Policy covers our treatment of the business and/or personally identifiable information we gather when you access the web sites controlled by us and use our products and services. This policy does not apply to the practices of companies that the Evogi Group does not own or control, or to individuals the Evogi Group does not employ or manage.

Business and/or Personally Identifiable information Collected Automatically:
We receive and store certain types of information when you interact with websites of The Evogi Group or obtain services from us. The Evogi Group automatically receives and records information on our server logs from your browser including your IP address, The Evogi Group cookie information, and the page you requested. We also record the details of your transactions on our web sites.
Generally, our services automatically collect usage information; such as the location, speed, and other performance data of a vehicle equipped with an Evogi Group device installed; and numbers and frequency of visitors to our various sites. Other than uses in providing the services to you (and insurer or others whom you have authorized to receive such information), The Evogi Group only uses this data in aggregate form; that is, as a statistical measure, and not in a manner that would identify you personally. This type of aggregate data enables us to figure out how often users use parts of our web sites or services so that we can make our web sites appealing to as many users as possible, and improve those services. As part of this use of information, we may provide aggregate information to our partners about how our users, collectively, use our site. We share this type of statistical data so that our partners also understand how often people use their services and the web sites, so that they, too, may provide you with an optimal online experience. We also share this type of statistical data so that our partners learn more about business operations and driving behavior. The Evogi Group never discloses aggregate information to a partner in a manner that would identify you personally.

We often receive a confirmation when you open an e-mail from The Evogi Group, if your computer supports this type of program. The Evogi Group uses this confirmation to help us make e-mails more effective and helpful.

Cookies are alphanumeric identifiers that we transfer to your computer's hard drive through your browser to enable our systems to recognize your browser and tell us how and when pages in our site are visited and by how many people.

If the device in your vehicle or access to the services is partially paid for by another person, an organization, or a company (for example, your employer, your insurer, or your parents), then we will share your business and/or personally identifiable information with that person, organization, or company when they access their account to view the information available through our service.
Affiliated Businesses We Do Not Control:
We are affiliated with a variety of businesses and work closely with them. The Evogi Group may provide services, or sell products jointly with its affiliated businesses. We will share user information only as required to complete such transactions with that affiliated business.
Law Enforcement and Regulatory Agencies:
We will share your business and/or personally identifiable information when we're legally required to provide data, such as in response to a subpoena in a civil lawsuit, by police when investigating the cause of an accident or when we are required to provide our data to a state department of insurance to support statistical analysis; and as otherwise required by law (for example, for tax purposes or for reporting suspicious transactions).
Agents:
We use other companies, agencies and people to perform tasks on our behalf and may need to share your information with them to provide products or services to you. We use computer safeguards such as firewalls and data encryption, we enforce physical access controls to our buildings and files, and we authorize access to business and/or personally identifiable information only for those employees or affiliates of The Evogi Group who require it to fulfill their job responsibilities.
Your Evogi Group account and business and/or personally identifiable information are protected by a password for your privacy and security. What Other Choices Do I Have?

You are able to add or update certain information on pages, such as those listed in the "What Business and/or personally identifiable information Can I Access" section above. When you update information, however, we often maintain a copy of the unrevised information in our records.
You may request deactivation of your account and deletion of business and/or personally identifiable information in your account by sending a letter with a verified tracking number (e.g. via national post with return receipt) to the Evogi Group office as identified in evogi.com; send the letter to the attention of: "Legal Services." Please note that when your personally identifiable information is deleted we no longer have the ability to provide you with services or to send you information. Additionally, some of your information may remain in our records after deactivation of your account.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
The Evogi Group may make changes to this Privacy Policy from time to time for any reason. Use of information we collect now is subject to the Privacy Policy in effect at the time such information is used or collected.
